Applegate Livestock Equipment Inc. (Applegate) manufactures a comprehensive line of cattle-handling and containment equipment.
In recent years, additions to the product line include horse stalls and panels, horse feeders and dog kennels. Applegate also produces a line of galvanized stock tanks and drinkers under the Ideal brand name.
Today, Applegate operates out of a 160,000 square foot production facility in Union City, Indiana, where, recently, a state-of-the-art powder coat system was installed.
Established in 1955, Applegate was acquired by Ag Growth International in 2008.
